The pickleball court markings are down at Woodbridge School!

The 6 pickleball courts marked out at Woodbridge School - looking beautiful in the valley. What a view.

The line markings for the pickleball courts are now down at Woodbridge School! On Sunday, myself, Will and 2 of our superstar players - Dan & James, got down there at midday and by 5pm we were in a position to give a court a test. It was quite the day, we were learning as we went, but the finished markings look great - we couldn't be happier with how they look.

Right now they are just taped down (you do not want to know how much time was spent in researching a tape that would work for this job, but I think what we have down will survive a long enough!). The painted lines are due to go down during May - an update on an exact expected paint day will be updated as and when we know.

We had a 45 minute doubles game once we were finished and the courts play really well. And the surroundings are just stunning. I'm going to put it out there, they are probably the nicest located courts in the area. I am sure all the players will love being in this location. The first session outside is Wednesday 6th May - 8 consecutive week packs are still available to buy for it (along with Friday and Sundays) so be sure to check those out here. Ad-hoc bookings continue via Spond for those who prefer that.

Once again, thanks to Woodbridge School for being so co-operative with our plans for pickleball in the area. I think we really are on the road to making Woodbridge, and especially Woodbridge School - the home of pickleball in Suffolk.
